For July’s Mission Monday, we're raising money for Kingston’s own Harambee to fundraise for the Pine Street African Burial Ground. Harambee is launching a capital campaign to raise $500,000 that will support the implementation of the 2020 youth design that includes a public memorial gathering space, installation of sculptural grave markers, sustainable landscaping, and the development of educational programs to raise awareness about the historical significance of Pine Street African Burial Ground. Rough Draft will be donating a percentage of sales for the entire day to Harambee Kingston NY Inc., and they will be tabling to discuss the project and provide more information.
