Author Manuel Gonzales will read from his 2016 novel, The Regional Office Is Under Attack, which The New York Times Book Review called " rollicking good fun on the surface, action-packed and shiny in all the right places."
He'll also read selections from new stories he's working on, and will be in conversation with Dan Poblocki, author of many novels for young people, includng The Book of Bad Things, The Stone Child, and the Shadow House series. Manuel's reading will be followed by a Q&A and book signing. Refreshments can be purchased from the bar. (Please, no outside food or beverage.)
The Regional Office is Under Attack is now available for purchase at Rough Draft Bar & Books, for 10% off leading up to Stephanie's reading. Manuel's 2014 short story collection, The Miniature Wife, is also for sale at 10% off.
RSVPs through Eventbrite are not required but are much appreciated. It lets us stay in touch with you in case of event changes, and helps us know how many people to expect.
