Join TMI Project for the first ever intergenerational production of Black Stories Matter. The performance will feature radically candid true stories from local people of color, from high school students to respected elders and many in between.
This is a special presentation during Black History Month In Kingston. The performance itself will be held at the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church of Kingston, but organizers are expecting a full house. Rough Draft will be hosting a viewing party along with a post-show discussion. Free with food, drink, or book purchase.
Throughout the month of February, a portion of sales from the books on Rough Draft’s Black Stories Matter table will be donated to the TMI Project to benefit future events like these.
