School Board elections matter -- and this year, seven candidates have already declared their intentions to run in this year's Kingston City School District race. We've invited the candidates to participate in a meet and greet on Monday, April 25th, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m, moderated by Charlotte Adamis -- a member of the Coalition for Equity in Education (CEE), a local group that advocates for improved communication between the school district and the community. Each speaker will have the opportunity to give a 2-minute platform pitch, after which audience members can ask questions of the group or speak one-on-one with individual candidates. Seating is first-come, first serve; RSVPs are not required.

COVID protocols: Rough Draft is following CDC guidance based on current Community Risk Level; as long as Ulster County’s level remains low, masks will be optional (although certainly not discouraged) for this event.
